Freight car manufacturing

The manufacturing center of the railway RPC “United Wagon Company” holding is Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant – the enterprise, producing new generation railway rolling stock for the Russian Federation and the CIS countries. On the Tikhvin industrial site also operates TikhvinChemMash – an enterprise, producing new generation tank cars and a new venture for the production of specialized freight cars – TikhvinSpetsMash. Aggregate production capacities of freight car-building plants, belonging to RPC UWC, amount up to 22,000 cars and 30,000 of car-sets castings per annum.

The production unit RPC UWC also includes NPC “Springs” which production capacity is up to 30,000 car-sets of railroad springs per annum.
